My son got a late invitation to a birthday party last week, and I waited until an hour before he had to leave to start my card. But, with this great set, Cowboy Boots, from The Angel Company - it was quick and easy to make a tween boy card. phew!
Colored pencil and gamsol are great for coloring - I have the largest set of Prismacolored pencils and there really is just about any color imaginable in there and I pulled the colors from the Rustic Chic paper pad. By cutting out the boot and setting it on top of an embossed white paper, it just gives it an extra little punch or wow factor. And my home made rope lasso was a fun detail. The hardest part of this card was deciding which Nestabilities to use!
Card Materials: all papers and stamps from The Angel Company
Stamps: Cowboy boots (boot and saying!)
Accessories: Rustic Chic paper, Kraft, Bazzill monochromatic brown, twine, Nestabilities, CB embossing plate
This weekend I had a drawing here on my blog - no one left me a tutorial link to something they've bookmarked but I selected a winner, none the less. If you have something fun to share - you can still do it today...I'm always on the look out for neat ideas. :)
Congrats to Myrna - and to think you were a first time visitor - how cool is that? Be sure to send me your mailing address.
