Potpourri

I'm still here - I'm sorry that my posting has really slowed down the last two weeks. I'm feeling better and hope to get back to cardmaking today/tomorrow so I will have something fresh to post next week!

In the meantime...how about some blog candy? I never cut the set Welcome Home and now it's on the retired list...so in honor of all the mothers out there in the world, just leave a comment between now and midnight, Sunday May 9 for a chance to win this set and a package of pearls.
On another note, I love clematis and brought this plant with me when we moved from North Carolina...only it was tiny 6 years ago! The arbor I had made when we were stationed in Panama and I just love how it's in full bloom - today all the petals are open and HUGE!

This clematis sits on the side of our house and a mama Robin has made her nest inside it...here is the "other" side which doesn't get much sun but makes for a perfect home. She keeps her eye on me from her nest as I move around the gardens...

I hope you have a super weekend! I'm baking for a bake sale and we have two baseball games for my son...

Your clematis is so pretty. I have one too, but it's purple. I am so sorry that you were in so much pain. I didn't know until I read about today. I am so glad you are feeling better.

So glad to hear that you are feeling better! :0) The clematis is beautiful...I wonder if that is what I have growing under one of my trees?? The flower looks very similar. And I am not a Mom...I am a dog mom, but hopefully I can enter for your blog candy! :0) Take care and talk to you soon!
Blessings,
Angela

It's a very cute set - I thought about buying it, but if I win it, that would be even better!

Great pictures. I guess it should not surprise us that you are so stamping-talented and you have a green thumb. So glad you are feeling better; I was really worried about you. And -- I really do like this set! Happy Mother's Day Cheryl

Your clematis is gorgeous! I have one I planted in terrible dirt and it isn't doing too good so I'm going to move it. I love the bird nest in your plant, that is so sweet! I didn't know you weren't feeling good, I have been so slow at blogging lately because of the house. I hope you feel better soon!
Love your blog candy, the houses are so cute!

Chris,
I am so excited to have won the blog candy. Thank you.
Love your clematis. Mine is still under a mound of snow :( as our my tulips and rose bush. But they tell us we are going to get warm weather soon. :)
