Today I have the sniffles and a sore throat so this image is fitting with this little guy all bundled up! When I first saw this stamp, I thought the bear would naturally be brown...wrong! Luckily the talented Angela K posted a card with this cutie - she left him white! - and I knew immediately that's what I would be doing too.
I also am playing along with a challenge over at Copic Creations to use the colorless blender. That's how I made my "snowflakes" in the blue background. My other fun trick was to dunk this silver snowflake (that I got on clearance at Staples years ago) into Brilliance white ink and I embossed it with my own special "mix". It's a mixture of white and sparkly embossing powder.
It's really a quick and simple card but it was a lot of fun to make!
Card Materials: all stamps and paper from The Angel Company
Stamps: Cuddly Christmas
Accessories: TAC Wing it pad, White DCWV, white caboodle paper (for copics), copics, nestabilities, silver snowflake, embossing powders, Memento black ink, Brilliance white ink
I hope you have a great start to your week...
