In time for Thanksgiving

This is a little project I made with my Hostess Club this month - I found the directions here on Splitcoast. Often we see these unique cards but they can seem a little intimidating...I found the directions were easy to follow though the card assembles differently than you'd expect so be sure to read through to the end. wink, wink!!

I can wait to send this to my parents and one to my sister's family since we won't be able to get together, I know they will enjoy it. I added a second white panel to the back side of the standing panel so that I could write a nice message. This folds flat and is ready to mail!

Card Materials: all stamps and papers from The Angel Company
Stamps: Give Thanks, Ever So Thankful
Accessories: Kraft cardstock, text paper, green Bazzill, ribbon, scrapper's floss, eyelets, BIC markers

For this sample I colored my images with BIC markers but in the end, when the ladies came over, I brought out the COPICS and let them try them out. I was worried they would need a class first but it really worked well for most everyone's first time...in fact, they looked prettier than this sample!

I'm a bit hit or miss right now with my posting because I have been subbing full time for the past three weeks...but when I can, I've been working on some more things to share! The funny thing is my husband is traveling this week and I thought "oh boy, I'll be able to craft into the wee hours of the night"...ha ha...by 10 pm I am wiped out and ready for bed. Hope your week is going well!
