The Perfect Little Gift

A while back I submitted a gift idea for a publication call for Hostess Thank You gifts...mine wasn't selected, so I want to share it here. I remember growing up my mom always had a cabinet where she would stock up on things so that if she was invited somewhere or someone dropped in, she would be ready with a small present. This is the time of year when you especially need to have a little something on hand and ready to gift! And this won't cost a lot!

I found this candy box template online (I can't remember where, I'm sorry!!) but it's quite easy to score with a scor pal and I had a lot of fun decorating it. I combined stamps from the Sending A Latte and Friends are Kisses sets, and I colored this little angel with copics. You can't make out the sparkle on her wings but I coated them in stickles!

On the inside I cut out a window and covered it with acetate so that you could see the Coffee Nip candies peeking out...a fitting treat for the stamped sayings!
Card Materials: all stamps and papers (More Mimi/Kraft) from The Angel Company

I hope you are having a super week - and have a great weekend ahead of you. We had a quiet Thanksgiving here and I have a lot to do yet to get ready for my Wrap it Up class on Monday here at my house! Don't forget that I have a raffle for this stamp set - just spend $30 in November for a chance to enter!
