Lucy's Summer Birthday

In keeping with the HOT, HOT, HOT temperatures around here, I thought I would pair little Lucy here with the Mia's Cottage paper collection.

Don't look too closely at my coloring! Pinks and reds are a real challenge but I managed to stay inside the lines! I also tried my hand at a bit of the dotted background technique...I just had to bring in some more blue although technically the blue would be in the sky. :)

Thanks for taking a peek and stay cool!

By the way, if you are in the area, I'm having a Meet Up on August 16 and 18th...it's an Angelee paper pack workshop where we'll be making 5 cards featuring "tags" and you take home all the leftover papers of one Angelee Soar with it Collection, 1/2 matching cardstock, plus directions for 5 more unique cards using the papers! This class has a real vintage or shabby chic feeling to it...I'm so excited to share it with you. {Email me if you'd be interested in purchasing this as a kit}
