Love this sketch...

so far it's been a great month of sketches over at The Angel Company and this week is no exception. I love this one!



I used my copics to color in this beautiful flower from Blossoms and Blessings. With the TAC caboodle color sets, I automatically have 3 tones of matching colors. It makes life so much easier!!



Once again, I made a slight tweak to the sketch by moving my scalloped layer up a bit...that's what makes sketches so wonderful I think.

Yellow!

This week I combined the sketch challenge from The Angel Company with the color challenge over at some other blogs...I hope you like the results. First up is my "plain jane" version.



But after looking at it for a day or two, it just seemed boring. I'm not sure I take 2 is so much better...but perhaps the versamark stamping and rounded corners make it a bit more interesting?!? Well, one can only hope!

Sorry for the terrible pictures! I have been battling random thunderstorms and 3 days of cloudy, overcast weather...this was my final and sadly best attempt to snap a photo.

Anyone else having problems with blogger? I'm about ready to cry...I can no longer access it from my desktop computer but luckily I can still get on via my laptop. Any ideas?

In need of blessings

I know at least two families right now that really need some prayers going out to sick loved ones - I hope that today and in the upcoming weeks you will be blessed and healed...

This simple card will go out in today's mail for one of those families. I used the stamp set Blossoms and Blessings - it has both great images and great sayings...I love this new set!

{: Embellish Magazine :} Blog Hop - check it out!

I have been waiting for this day with some anticipation...okay, I'm giddy!

Clean Lines

The other night I was surfing the gallery over on SCS which I haven't done in a while. It's a shame really but I can hardly keep up with all of the blogs I'm following. But I saw a great card that just clicked and I knew that when my new Blossoms and Blessings stamp came I would try to copy that style.
