Easter Treats

I can hardly believe Easter is just around the corner! My daughter's birthday is in two days and I'm not even ready for that!! sigh...

During Halloween I made these little pencil/candy stix treat pouches using file folders. They are a bit narrow though so this time around, I thought why not just make them wider? Perfect!

And I just love the way Running Stitches looks embossed in white ink and white powder. It makes a huge difference and it totally looks like it's been sewn with a machine!

I was totally inspired on these colors from one of the gals in my Hostess Club, Kristi! I'll share our cards during my next post...but he's covered with a clear gel glaze pen and in real life it really adds so much.

Blog Hop!

It's time for another blog hop over at The Angel Company and there is a prize for one lucky winner - so take a chance and play along! You have until Sunday to post your creation...on your blog or in a gallery.

Here's my little creation...I had never made a triangle box but they are so quick and easy! I found my directions on the Scor Pal blog and I used a 6 x 4.5 sheet of paper. I think these would be perfect tucked into an Easter basket or for a quick teacher's gift. And look at that cute chicken my friend Julie gave me! It walks and lays bubble gum eggs...too funny.

I used Copics to color in this cute little bunny. All four images in the I Love Easter set are adorable! There is one with a bunny tail that I just love using fun flock on. I edged the circle with Claret palette ink and it goes perfectly with my ribbon and Chartreuse DCWV cardstock. Seriously, you could make this in 15 min or less! Gotta love that!

Be sure to check out the other fun ideas! And thanks for visiting...
