TAC Fall/Winter Catalog...drumroll, please!!

Here’s my collection of tattered and torn (aka well loved!) catalogs from my time with The Angel Company...I have stamp sets from all of them and often go back to the pages of ideas within. But, good news!! The new Fall/Winter Catalog will debut this weekend and I’ve preordered 100 to be able to offer you the best price. Plus, you’ll receive a coupon from me, for $4 off your first purchase. We will be able to start placing orders from the catalog on June 23rd, 2008.

And hopefully, within the week, you'll be able to check out the “latest” stamps and supplies on my website...just click on The Angel Company logo to the right or visit me at:

http://chris.ismyangel.net/

If you’d like to place an order, please contact me directly since you do NOT earn FREE stamps via our online ordering. Both customers and hostesses benefit from The Angel Company’s generous rewards plan. I am happy to take checks, Money Orders, Paypal and Credit Cards.

If you live outside the USA and would like to order from TAC, please contact me since I do ship at reasonable prices overseas!

American Idol...for Papercrafters!

I had never heard of this contest until a fellow TAC angel mentioned it! The Papercrafts Magazine is holding a contest for papercrafters that works like American Idol. Basically you post some cards and they get voted on until the final four...but check out the complete details and enteries at:

http://www.papercraftsmag.com/gallery/content.ihtml?idx=243

Our goal is to get some TAC samples out there and I hope you'll join us!

Be sure to come back and post a link to your card in the comments section if you do enter!

One sketch...two cards

When I first bought the soon to be retired, Hang Loose set, I think it was the station wagon that drew me in the most. I remembered the green station wagon my family drove, complete with wood veneer panels. I loved it when I first saw it new but hated it when it got old and shabby looking. Still, we had many wonderful family trips in it and so that is the inspiration behind today's card. Some retro colors in honor of that car...I think my folks will enjoy the sentiment (from It's the Little Things) since it's so true. Perfect Father's Day card, now that I think of it!

The other card was just a quick birthday card for my son to take to a party. The neatest thing was when he came home to tell me how much all of the other boys there loved it. They were quite impressed when he told them I had made it and NOT bought it! I did dress is up with some huge, bright orange brads I had from Joann's clearance aisle. I've had them forever but they were perfect for this card.

Give a stamper some paper...

and inks...and see what you get! Today for our hostess club get together I showed some watercolor techniques and wanted to use the retiring Pretty Posies set. I just put out 3 packages of Tombow markers, a sample idea card (yellow) and a whole lot of Die Cut With a View textured papers...everyone did their own thing and it was a lot of fun.

Hello!

I swore I wouldn't...promised I wouldn't...but here I am! I started a blog! Don't expect daily "wowser" techniques or card samples, but I will do my best to update once a week and share the ramblings of my life and my stamping adventures!

Welcome aboard this crazy ride with me!
