Flopsy Bunny

I love when I have one of the vintage Stamp of the Months that The Angel Company brings out because it really gives me a chance to dust off some of my older stamps and give them a whirl. I have had Flopsy Bunny for over 7 years and never used the little guy ... he went into my daughter's stamping collection and hibernated there until this weekend. Now I can't get that darn guy out of my head and it was either the time change or working this card out in my head that kept me up for most of the night...sigh...

On Friday I stamped out two of these images and decided I wanted him climbing over a wall. I colored him on Saturday and embossed the bricks with a Fiskars dry embossing plate...on Sunday I cut him out and attached the wall. I masked, stamped, colored and cut out the carrots late last night...and went to bed feeling that the white was just too bright around him.

In the night I decided I wanted try out the sponging a sky tutorial I had seen on Splitcoaststampers and this morning, at long last, I finished up the card and am kinda happy with it. Phew!!

Here you can see a little of the dimension that's on the card

Don't forget that this is the last month of our Stamp of the Month program as it currently is featured...and don't miss out on the Buy One Get One Free More Mimi special!

And be sure to check out the Celebrate Her project ideas and special for March!

This is such a great card. It is so wonderful when a card comes together after so much thought.
