Inspired by...

The blog by Jill, called Inspired by...

I love shaped cards and when I posted some Halloween scalloped cards a few weeks ago, I used this same technique to hide the fold. After all, why ruin a good shape with an ugly fold?!

Last night the UPS man brought me the latest Limited Edition stamps from The Angel Company...can you believe that this butterfly and leaf set were only $2.95 (with a $30 order, that is). I sat in bed and cut them out last night and then I was up first thing this morning, ready to stamp! These are only available during September...

I hope you like my card!

Here's how I did it. Cut two separate shapes.

Score a fold line very close to the top but at least 1/4 - 1/2 inch down. I used my Scor Tape to attach the two card pieces together.

Finished!

Card Materials: all stamps and papers from The Angel Company
Stamps: Mini Greats (September ONLY special!), Vintage Santa
Accessories: Amelia Soar with it Collection cardstock (retired), border punch, twine, Transcendence embossing powder, Nestabilities

By the way...I've seen the $5 Grab bags in person now. Unbelievable...it's better than I had even imagined! You will be getting full sets in these grab bags and the value of at least one is $19.95...and we're talking 4 layers worth of stamps. I'm putting in my own order! :)

Why do you want me to spend so much money? I can't handle all these September only deals!

Great card - you really make me want that stamp set, and the tut on the shaped card is great!
