Gift tags

I saw some lovely little watercolored tags on Dina's blog and since I'm partial to watercoloring myself, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I also was fascinated with this stamp set in The Angel Company's catalog...those little boughs of flowers would be perfect for this kind of project!

We made these at my hostess club get together and Lois thought they would be good as bookmarkers too. Either way, it's perfect for using up colored scraps of cardstock!

HOW TO: I cut my watercolor paper to 2 x 4 inches. You can use Palette Noir ink or Staz on to stamp your image on watercolor papers, neither of these will run or change color. Then I scribbled with Tombow markers on the lid of a plastic stamp case and just picked up the colors with my aqua brush. So easy! I do recommend that you pick your cardstock first and then watercolor...for me that just worked best!

Hope it is a great week for you so far...looks like another glorious day here! The last day to order the retiring stamps is almost upon us!
