Principal Appreciation

This week is Teacher Appreciation week but now that my kids are in the upper grades, we really haven't done individual gifts anymore. The secretary at our school though asked if I could come up with some Principal Appreciation cards from the staff and this is what I came up for the male. Let me tell you that their mascot is Mustangs so I thought this retiring horse would be perfect - and I copied Chelsea's Alphabet panel idea!

See the detail of the "notepaper"? That's from the set, Just a Note and I love it for these kinds of accents. The horse is embossed and the mat is actually Kraft cardstock. I took these photos at night and the color is not quite right. Sorry!

Card Materials: Bazzill blue, Kraft cardstock, Hieroglyph Horses, Just a Note, Background Soup, and clear embossing powder

This retiring set is now on sale...and I was lucky enough to have my card in the catalog last year featuring it. I'm not even a horse person but it's such a fun and versatile set!

This card is for the Sketch challenge over at The Angel Company and it also fits in with:

The Pixie Cottage - sketch or one for the boys
Papercrafts Star - find your own sketch

This is really cool! I'm so going to miss this set being in the catty but I'll be keeping mine!!

This is a great card - I have always loved the hieroglyph horses. That is the downside of having hostess club so late - paying more for the stamps.
